Fastrack bus services began operation in 2006, and serve a large area of North Kent, encompassing key locations such as Gravesend, Dartford,  Ebbsfleet International station, and Bluewater.  Oustanding features of this service include;

• Specific busways to bypass congestion hotspots
• Priority at junctions for Fastrack vehicles over other traffic
• Services linking key destinations
• New modern, well designed vehicles
• Bus lanes to avoid other traffic
• Services running with greater frequency and earlier and later start and finish times

The m-ticket  trial scheme, running until the 31st of August, is a  payment system whereby software is downloaded to your phone, this is expected to be extended as the scheme has been very well recieved.
